The most fuel efficient motorcycles
Find out which bikes are the most frugal for each manufacturer

In the UK it is nigh on impossible to get official mile per gallon figures from the motorcycle industry.
Finding out the fuel economy of a motorcycle is really hard to come by. When researching, the best resources are often owners' clubs and forums. The problem is that there are no standardised tests to determine a bike's performance for fuel consumption, a factor that can change depending on a variety of situations.
Some manufacturers release figures based on findings from the World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC), but these come from an EU indoor bench test on a rolling road. They can often be misleading as they don't hold into account wind resistance, friction and all the real-world elements that can affect fuel consumption.
So what we've put together is a best possible guide to the most fuel efficient bikes on the market, they're not tested by Visordown or exact, but provide a good benchmark for what bikes per manufacturer get the best MPG.
