Bizarre Biking Law: Where is it illegal to ride beyond your ability?
Don't bite off more than you can chew, or be prepared to face the consqeuences...

IT DOESN’T get more bizarre than this…
According to Chapter 20 of the West Virginia Code, it is illegal to operate a off-road motorcycle or ATV outside of your own ability.
That’s right, if you were planning to take on a trail or course beyond your level of riding, you would effectively be committing a crime.
So if the physical risk of riding stupidly isn’t enough to deter a rider, then maybe the legality of it might.
But that does makes us wonder how riders in the state ever manage to improve…
