This year marks three decades since the iconic GS range went into production. Since its inception the brand has snowballed from a niche semi off-roader to a worldwide saleschart-topping phenomenon.

After watching this video we can't help lusting after an old-style GS, preferably the R80 Paris-Dakar model with the large capacity fuel tank. Just look at the size of it compared to today's gargantuan 1200GS Adventure.
