Buy this sub-£10k Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX and enjoy supercharged fun for less
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX is one of the punchiest of all sports tourers, but this used one doesn’t have a punchy price tag
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 range is one of the most bonkers out there in the production world, but you aren’t forced to pay crazy money to experience it.
It’s kind of wild to think that the Ninja H2 SX will be six years old in 2024, but be that it will. It will also continue to be a tremendous amount of fun to ride, no doubt, especially after building the new Ninja H2 Lego Technic set recently revealed by the Danish toymaker.
The 197bhp output from the Ninja H2 SX’s supercharged inline-four might not be quite on the level of the Ninja H2R (326bhp with Ram-Air), but for a sports tourer, it’s out of this world.
Sure, the BMW M 1000 XR will surpass it in pure numbers by now thanks to its 201bhp inline-four, but that’s only available as a brand spanker, since it only came out at the end of ‘23, and so you’ll have to fork out almost £24,000 for one. And, for what? Four horses? You wouldn’t pay that for four actual living, breathing horses! (Yes, we Googled it - the average cost for a horse is £4,000.)
The Ninja H2 SX example shown in this article is available on Superbike Factory for under £10,000 (£9,986), and still only has a pretty acceptable 7,263 miles on the clock.
Further in the Kawasaki's favour is, in this particular case, its all-grey paint job that we reckon is pretty much unassailable in the cool department, especially with the little green flashes here and there and the blacked-out five-star wheels. And then there are those delicious chirping sounds from the centrifugal supercharger, of course.
