Fresh Colours for 2024 KTM Sports Bikes

KTM has refreshed its sports bike range for 2024, with new colours for both the KTM RC 390 and smaller RC 125 motorcycles

New colours are coming the way of the KTM RC 390 and RC 125 in 2024, with new designs based on KTM’s flagship performance models.

The KTM RC 8C is by now, weirdly, the top model in KTM’s sports line-up, despite not being a road-legal bike. But it means that it is the benchmark now for the two smaller RCs: the 390 and 125, which this year get their styling cues, at least in terms of paint, from the RC 8C (as well as the new KTM 1390 Super Duke).

Orange sides and black down the middle is the order of the day for both road-legal RCs in 2024, and the Mattighofen design department has put some large RC logos on the side fairing, too. An all-black tank (as well as the appropriate designatory number on the fairing) marks the 125 apart from the 390, but both are also available with the black swapped out for a slightly more colourful deep blue.

Whether you choose blue or black, the bike is mostly orange, as you’d probably expect - even the wheels are orange on the 390, which is kind of Repsol Honda-ish, if you think about it, but KTM has been going with orange wheels on a number of models for years by now, so it’s hardly going to cause branding confusion. The frame and wheels are painted black on the RC 125, while the frame is orange, like the wheels, on the 390.

The 2024 update for the RC 390 and RC 125 is limited to the paint, which means you still get the same RC4 single-cylinder motor in both (albeit with different capacities), which puts out 43bhp in its 373cc form for the 390, and 15bhp in its 125cc version.
