Indian soldiers set new 10-hour record riding on ladders
'Janbaz' was founded in 1990, and is famed for the riders’ gravity-defying stunts
TWO jawans (soldiers) from India’s Border Security Force (BSF) motorcycle display team 'Janbaz' yesterday set a new world record by continuously riding for 10 hr 34 min 27 sec on top of poles fitted to their bikes.
At Chawla BSF Camp in Delhi, Inspector Awdhesh Kumar Singh and Head Constable Durvesh Kumar climbed to the top of 16.5ft tall structure atop their 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycles and performed the feat, breaking the Indian Army’s previous record of 09 hr 04 min 05 sec and entering the Limca book of world record.
'Janbaz' was founded in 1990, and is famed for the riders’ gravity-defying stunts. This is the second impressive stunt performed by by the display team this month, after 36 jawans climbed aboard three Bullets and covered a distance of 1 km in just 55.52 seconds.
