From classic car boots to countrywide rides, there's something for everyone
IF YOU’RE brave enough to leave your sofa and venture outside this weekend there’s a handful of exciting motorcycling events on across the country.

Classic cars and motorcycles will cover Granary Square this weekend, alongside stalls selling wonderfully vintage items.
Visitors to the Classic Car Boot can test their two-wheeled skills on radical custom built bikes and historical boneshakers. Meanwhile, live bands and DJs will perform aboard a double-decker bus, while street food stalls and a vintage hair parlour are also among the weekend’s attractions. There’s also plenty to keep the kids busy.

Celebrate all things Italian at the Ace Café this Sunday, and gawp at Ducatis, MV Agustas and Benellis from throughout the ages.

Motorbikes will be the main event at this fun event in Salisbury, alongside a live band, Rev Rock's disco, stalls and food.
What: Velocette Motorcycle Day

Another celebration of classics – this time British ones – will be taking place this weekend at Brooklands museum.
The Velocette owners club will descend on the Museum site for the day, alongside the Morgan Three Wheeler Club, and the public will be treated to displays in the Paddock, Motoring Village and Finishing Straight, along with ascents up Test Hill.

The annual Ride Capitals will see a group of riders travelling to the 3 capital cities of Edinburgh, London and Cardiff on a primarily 'A Road' route in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Leaving Wrexham, North Wales On Thursday May 3rd, the route will pass by Brooklands Circuit, Knockhill Circuit, Olivers Mount Circuit and Kinsham Circuit, with a lap at each of the latter three.
Stops will be made at the Ace Cafe London, Scotland’s ‘Bikers Cove’ and Wales’ ‘Owls Nest’, and special guests will meet at these locations.
The event is concluded on Bank Holiday Monday May 7th and bikers are invited to join in anywhere en route or take part in the whole trip. Since their inception in 2012 these annual fun Knievel themed events have raised more than £34,000.
