Manchester Police scrap Honda ST1300s over Pc's fatal collision
THE DEATH of a police motorcyclist during a training exercise was accidental, a coroner has ruled.
Earlier this month, Visordown reported how Pc Allan Shaw, 33, was killed on his Honda ST1300 when he went over a speed bump and was thrown off. At the time Pc Shaw was taking part in a motorcycle training course.
Greater Manchester Police said all Honda Pan European ST 1300s had now been taken off the force, after advice from the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo).
