MotoFest Coventry 2023 set for June return, aiming for Ride-In record

MotoFest Coventry is set to return in 2023, following its 2022 postponement, and is scheduled to run on the first weekend of June.

MotoFest Coventry has announced that it will return in 2023, after the cancellation of the 2022 event.

MotoFest Coventry was unfortunate enough to plan its 2022 event for the same week as that in which the Queen died. Of course, it had no choice but to postpone.

For 2023, the event is back “full throttle,” a MotoFest Coventry press release says, and will return to dates more familiar with its past.

MotoFest Coventry 2023 will take place on 3-4 June, beginning with the traditional ‘Ride-In’, which this year will run from Draycote Water to the main City Centre Sprint Circuit.

This year’s Ride-In will also be the focus of a record attempt, as organisers look for it to feature between 500 and 1000 motorcycles. If you want to be involved, the process could not be simpler: you literally just have to turn up with your bike to the start point of the Ride-In at Draycote Water on 3 June - there is no sign-up or registration required.

In addition to the Ride-In, there are set to be several displays and other attractions throughout the event.

Sports bikes, ex-competition motorcycles, and - for the first time - electric bikes are all set for their own showcases on the Sprint Circuit. No particular details are yet confirmed about what bikes will be shown, apart from the Maeving RM1 will be on display - Maeving being a Coventry-based electric bike manufacturer.

Away from the circuit, there will be a dedicated Motorcycle Village in Greyfriars Green, which will feature motorcycle displays, individual and club displays, along with the MotoFest Classic and Custom Motorcycle Show, in which prizes will be awarded “across a number of categories,” the MotoFest press release reads.
