See the most beautiful parts of Europe with Ducati's Travel Adventures
Ducati is offering three new riding experiences based around its touring and adventure bikes, with booking open now for these southern European trips.
Ducati’s Riding Experience campaign is now looking to take you for an adventure in Southern Europe, with Sardinia and Tuscany both available, as well as a Franco-Italian trip.
The new Riding Experiences from Ducati are being presented under a new “DRE Travel Adventures” banner, which Ducati says, “is further confirmation of the Bologna-based manufacturer's goal of continuing to enrich the lives of enthusiasts through memorable experiences on their bikes.”
DesertX Expedition
There are three trips available through the Travel Adventures, with the first one called the DesertX Expedition. This will last for five days (7-11 September), and will take place on the island of Sardinia, home to round eight of this year’s MXGP World Championship, as well as the most recent round of the World Rally Championship. The name of this trip leaves little to the imagination with regards to the machine you will be riding, as Ducati supplies what it describes as its “most-anticipated bike of the year” for this island adventure.
Multistrada Expedition
The second ‘travel adventure’ will begin in Italy and end in France, between 29 September and 4 October. This is the “Multistrada Experience,” again leaving little to guess at regarding the bike. In fact, there is a choice for the participants of the Multistrada Experience between the V2 and V4 Multi, as they pass from Turin to the Verdon gauges, through Grenoble, Mont Ventoux, the Col de Galibier and more. This southern European, Franco-Italian trip promises to give beautiful views, and surely a rangey V4, or a torquey V-twin will provide a comfortable steed to take them in.
Dream Tour
Finally, we come to the final trip, which is the return of the “Dream Tour,” which Ducati had run previously, but now comes under the “DRE Travel Adventures” umbrella.
This tour starts in Borgo Panigale where participants will tour the Ducati Museum and production facility, before a three-day trip through the Tuscan-Emilian hills, straddling the border of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The “Dream Tour” is available on two occasions in 2022, but both in October: firstly, from 14-16 October, and secondly from 18-20 October.
You can make bookings for any of the “Travel Adventures” you wish on Ducati’s dedicated webpage, and Ducati says that “new trips around the world” are on their way.
