Spy shots of the Kawasaki Ninja 250, ZX-2R?
US market gets baby Ninja, could it be heading to Europe?

The new 250 ... sharp looks
Family values ... 250 clearly from the ZX gene pool
Ninja 250R ... dated but just £1500 new
THESE amateur shots appear to be of an all-new Kawasaki Ninja 250, which, if imported to Europe, could be called the ZX-2R.
The pictures were taken in Barcelona where the bike is being photographed in preparation for Kawasaki's marketing material.
The 'ZX-2R' could replace the Ninja 250R, a 248cc parallel-twin fourt-stroke sportsbike. Currently, we don't get the Ninja 250R in the UK, but it is available to the US market and hopefully the ZX-2R will be made available to the European market too.
The Ninja 250R retails to the US market at around £1500. Clearly, if the ZX-2R was launched with a budget price, it would be a hit for new and younger riders.
Let's hope Kawasaki bring this model to the UK and that other manufacturers follow suit.
