Triumph and DGR Join Forces to Give Away a Thruxton Final Edition
To help boost fundraising, Triumph is giving away a Thruxton Final Edition to one lucky participant
In late 2023 Triumph announced that it was to close the curtain on the Thruxton, it’s factory-built performance cafe racer.
The news brought with it the obvious Thruxton Final Edition, a bike created from a Thruxton RS and headlined with beautiful ‘Competition Green’ paint and gold coach lining and badging on the fuel tank and tail unit. It also gained ‘Final Edition’ branding and a certificate of authenticity.
One of those bikes has been held back, and now it’s going to be used to help boost fundraising in the annual Distinguished Gentlemans Ride (DGR), the global fundraising event that the Hinckley brand has a long history of supporting.
The press release from Triumph advises that the bike will be won by the top-performing fundraiser from this year’s DGR, gifting them a rare (and potentially sought-after) bike as a ‘thank-you’ for their hard work.
Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said:
“We share the DGR’s ambitious goal for 2024; to bring even more riders together, in more places around the globe, to raise even more money for men’s mental health and prostate cancer. We are working side by side with the DGR and our growing global dealer network to help achieve 1000 Rides. This year, we will be rewarding the highest fundraiser with an iconic motorcycle; the Thruxton Final Edition, as well as donating five exclusive clothing prizes to Team Triumph fundraisers. In this way, we hope to unite and inspire Triumph riders across the world on 19 May to join Team Triumph, dress dapper, raise money and enjoy the ride.”
