Triumph and RideTo Partnership Announced
Triumph and RideTo are looking to get more young riders on the roads by promoting the thrill of motorcycling
Triumph has signed a two-year deal with the motorcycle training and booking website RideTo, as the two brands look to get more young riders hooked on two-wheels.
RideTo delivers practical advice to aspiring and recently qualified riders using engaging online content covering riding skills, pre-test advice, riding kit guides and much more. The focus of the website is on supporting their journey into the motorcycling segment at every step of the way, from taking their CBT through to completing a full licence.
Triumph also has a vested interest in young riders around the world, with its burgeoning range of small and mid-capacity bikes helping to bring some much needed style to the A2 category. It also recently launched its Ticket to Ride sales initiative, giving new riders £500 towards a Trident 660, Trident Triple Tribute or Tiger Sport 660, if the bike is purchased within the first 12 months of the rider taking their test.
The collaboration between the two brands means a raft of content is incoming to help aspiring riders plot their path to two wheels. This will include informative content, bikes reviews, kit and clothing advice, and even basic motorcycle maintenance.
The main piece of content to come from the partnership is the New Rider Journal (Vol. 2), a coffee table book that is packed with essential information, and set to be released on 31 May.
Speaking about the partnership, General Manager for Triumph UK & Ireland, Devron Boulton said:
“At Triumph we are fully committed to attracting the next generation of riders and encouraging the many benefits that riding a motorcycle can offer. Recognising that the journey from first ride to fully qualified can be daunting for people, we are keen to help overcome some of the barriers faced by new riders seeking to join our passionate community.
“Luckily, platforms like RideTo provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for those eager to get into motorcycling, so this partnership was a no-brainer for us. Our new initiative ‘Ticket to Ride’, provides a gateway to Triumph and we hope that by teaming up with RideTo, new riders are equipped with the tools and advice they need to succeed in their tests and more.”
