As we prepare to head into 2022 we have plenty of motorcycle events to look forward to, and considering the vents of the last two years, any excuse to get out on your bike to get out there with your chums is a good one.

2022 Motorcycle Events and Shows
The 2022 season for motorcycle shows and events gets off to a quick start - there’s no waiting around here - and provided the world situation doesn’t take a turn (depending on your view, anyway) we’ll be looking at pointing our noses to Newark Showground for the Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic on the 8th & 9th of January.
Towards the end of January, our attention turns to Manchester for the return of the Manchester Bike Show for the 29th & 30th of January.
A personal favourite of ours is the London Motorcycle Show held at the ExCel - only across the city from the Visordown offices. Typically held around Valentines Day, in 2022 we’ll be dragging the other half around the halls from the 11th to 13th of February 2022.
As 2022 marches on, there will be plenty of other local events to head to, but other notable gatherings include the Bike Shed Show the 27th - 29th of May, the Adventure Bike Rider Festival on the 24th - 26th of June, and some sort of Festival of Motorcycling on the 14th & 15th of May 2022.

2022 MotoGP Calendar (provisional)
Of course, many of us will also keep a beady eye on the MotoGP calendar for 2022 when thinking about attending events and potential clashes, so here’s the provisional calendar - which will no doubt have a few changes as time goes on.
