Yamaha MX Pro Tour set for October UK date, '24 YZ250F available
The 2024 Yamaha YZ250F will be available for test rides at the upcoming Yamaha MX Pro Tour event at the Moto101 track in October.
The Yamaha MX Pro Tour is heading to the UK later this year, and customers will be able to try out the new 2024 Yamaha YZ250F.
The Yamaha YZ250F is almost all-change for 2024, bar the engine, with many of the updates seen on the 2023 YZ450F making their way to Yamaha’s quarter-litre four-stroke motocrosser.
The 2024 YZ250F will be available for test rides during the Yamaha MX Pro Tour event at Moto101 next month, alongside the 2023 YZ450F, 2023 YZ125, and YZ125 with GYTR parts.
The event will take place over two days, with the first day (Friday 13 October) seeing the track hired out exclusively by Yamaha, and the second (Saturday 14 October) as part of a public practice day at Moto101.
To test ride one of the available Yamaha bikes on the Friday, it is necessary to book a place. This should be done at a Yamaha dealer, and costs £25 to book a morning (10:00-12:30) or afternoon (13:30-16:00) spot. Each spot guarantees at least two, 15-minute rides. There will also be a professional photographer on-site, and the £25 fee also includes an action shot supplied to you from the photographer, as well as a Yamaha t-shirt.
To get a test ride on the Saturday, riders need to be attending the regular public ride day at Moto101. On arrival to the track, it will then be possible to book a test ride with the Yamaha MX Pro Tour team present at the track. There is no pre-booking available for the Saturday, an test rides will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
