2014 Victory motorcycles revealed
Not too much to report, though
SINCE it’s parent firm, Polaris, has been so firmly focussed on getting its other bike brand – Indian – back up and running with an all new machine for 2014 perhaps it should be no surprise that Victory’s range for next year is looking largely unchanged.
There are two new additions, in the form of the Cross Country 8-Ball and the Cross Roads 8-Ball, but they’re stripped back versions of the existing Cross Country and Cross Roads machines rather than significantly ‘new’ bikes. Both get black paint and reduced prices (in America, at least) when compared to the non-8-Ball versions.
Elsewhere in the range, American prices have been cut on several models including the High-Ball, while the Hard-Ball (a High-Ball with hard bags, natch) has been dropped from the range. The Judge gets a new seat and repositioned bars and pegs as well as resigned side panels, which lose the oval ‘race number’ plates in favour of a shape that sits more neatly with the rest of the bike’s sharp-edged styling.
As you’d expect, there are several new colour schemes throughout the range, too.
No word yet on UK availability or prices for the 2014 machines.
