The CFMoto 800MT is set to drop later this month, and the Chinese manufacturer has released details on its upcoming adventurers.

The CFMoto 800MT range will comprise two bikes, with a Touring edition and a Sport edition. Both will be available later this month.

Both the Sport and Touring editions of CFMoto's latest offering feature the same 799cc in-line two-cylinder engine, with 95 horsepower and 77Nm, and both bikes will weigh 232kg. They will also both feature a wet multi-disc clutch, electronic throttle and two power modes: Sport and Rain.

The brakes are also identical, with 320mm dual discs with radial callipers on the front, and a 260mm single disc at the back, both coming from J.Juan. Additionally, both bikes feature cornering ABS, keyless start, LED lights and a seven-inch TFT dash.

The identicality continues also with the dimensions, with both bikes having the same length (2234mm), width (853mm) and height (1277mm), the same seat height (825mm), the same fuel capacity (19l), and the same wheelbase (1531mm).

Both 800MTs also feature cruise control at 25mph or faster, and in fourth gear or higher; both have a combined luggage capacity of 69 litres with both side boxes and the top box attached; both feature a tyre pressure monitor; and both have a steering damper.

However, where the Touring option has a bi-directional quickshifter, the Sport does not, and the aesthetics of the bikes are also different. Most notably, the Touring version has cross-spoked wheels, while the Sport has five-spokes; and the Touring has an engine plate, indicating it is the one with more of an off-road focus. Also, the colours are different, because while both are available in Twilight Blue, only the Sport is available in Nebula Black.

And, finally, the prices are different. Where the Sport will cost £10,399, the Touring will retail for £11,099.

Both the Sport and Touring versions can be viewed on the CFMoto website, and here at Visordown we will be testing the 800MT in July. If there is anything particular about this latest CFMoto offering you want to know, be sure to head over to our Facebook page and let us know.
