Energica launch MotoE inspired RS versions for 2021
Official MotoE manufacturer Energica is to launch a range of RS machines that take advantage of world championship technology
ITALIAN Electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica is set to release a new high-specification range of RS bikes that utilise knowledge gained in the MotoE World Championship.
The RS badge will be available on all models in the + range and features a host of improvements to the electronics that are directly derived from the bikes used in the MotoE championship.
60 days and 600 miles living With The Energica Eva
As anyone who has ridden one will know, any Energica is likely to be the fastest accelerating motorcycle you’ll have ever ridden. For 2021 though, that benchmark is being reset, as the RS uses a VCU featuring mapping and parametrization improvements to deliver WorldSBK beating acceleration times.
The changes have lopped two-tenths of a second off the bike’s 0-60 time, bringing the bike to nearly the national UK speed limit in just 2.6 seconds.
All 2021 RS models can be ordered from November and will be on sale with fast charging technology, 4.3’’ TFT colour display dashboard, Regina (15/44) 525 O-Ring Chain, Traction Control, Cruise Control, and Park Assistant as standard features.
The USB port will be standard on Eva Ribelle RS and Eva EsseEsse9+ RS (optional on Ego+ RS). The new models also get a storage kit and specific badging included. Alongside the MY2021 RS, the MY2021 models with 21.5 kWh power unit and 13.4 kWh power unit remain in the product range.
Keyless System will also be available as optional equipment on MY2021+.
