Honda relaunches the Urban Tiger Fireblade
It’s 1994 all over again.
THE death of Kurt Cobain. The release of Pulp Fiction and Four Weddings and a Funeral. The launch of the Urban Tiger Fireblade.
The common denominator is the year 1994. And to celebrate 20 years since a minor model change on its top-of-the-range superbike – notable mainly for the switch to ‘fox eye’ headlights – Honda has decided to offer an ‘Urban Tiger’ version of its latest 2014 Fireblade.
Whether you think the Urban Tiger look has aged any better than the rest of the things we remember 1994 for is very much down to personal taste. In its day, it was something of a legend.
So if you want to relive the year of Friends series one, you can, from July, for £13,299.
Then stick on that PJ and Duncan tape you never admit to buying (ready to rumble yet?), comb what’s left of your hair into curtains and ride an Urban Tiger Blade. It comes with an Akrapovic pipe as part of the deal, but you’ll have to source your own garish Fieldsheer Acid Worm leathers.

Now Honda has announced the livery will be available on production models. So if you want to relive the year of Friends series one, you can, from July, for £13,299.
