Husqvarna has revealed the 2022 specification Svartpilen 125, Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 roadsters, which have undergone a nip and tuck and been given a kit upgrade.

The first roadgoing motorcycles to come from the Swedish firm in the wake of its takeover from KTM/Pierer, the Svartpilen and Vitpilen are based on the KTM Duke range, using the running gear of the 690 (701), 390 (401) and 125.

Debuting a striking neo-retro design unmistakable to Husqvarna, as the Svartpilen and more cafe racer-inspired Vitpilen enter a fifth year on public sale, the lower capacity 125 and 401 have been given a refresh for 2022.

From the outset, the distinctive look has been softened and brought into line with the rest of the range with some more contemporary graphics, while the 373cc 44hp single-cylinder Euro5 compliant engine is complemented by WP APEX suspension and ByBre brakes.

Added to the range in 2020 as a new entry-level base model to the Huskie range, the Svartpilen 125 is available with an A1-licence, making it suited to younger riders, while it boasts the same premium graphic finish as its larger brothers.

The revised Svartpilen 125 starts at £3,900, with prices rising to £4999 for the Svartpilen 401 and £5,599 for the Vitpilen 401.
