KTM 1290 Super Duke R: the unlikely tourer
What do you mean, you wouldn’t go touring on a 180hp naked bike?

KTM HAS unveiled this touring-spec version of its 1290 Super Duke R. Because the 180hp naked bike is an ideal choice for a transcontinental haul, right?
It’s got heated grips, an integral brake disc lock, a Garmin GPS mounting bracket in the dash (no mention of the sat nav unit itself), a more comfy seat, 18-litre panniers and a tail pack.
No word yet on price but you'll be able to order the bike with this touring package when the standard 1290 Super Duke R is released in December.
