Moto Guzzi celebrates 100 years with special editions
Moto Guzzi is to celebrate 100 years of making motorcycles with two Centenario editions of the V85 TT and V7 models
MOTO GUZZI has just announced two new special edition motorcycles launched to celebrate the Italian brand’s centenary year.
Moto Guzzi V85 TT video review
The two models that will be blowing out the candles on a rather sizable cake are the V85 TT and the retro naked the V7. Both machines will gain an exclusive new colour scheme reserved only for Centenario models. The paint scheme of the bikes draws inspiration from the 8-cylinder dustbin fairing race bike of 1955.
They will both feature a satin-finished fuel tank, green fairing, and leather seat, based on the 350 Bialbero. Each bike will also include a dedicated 100Y Moto Guzzi logo with a golden finish adorning the front mudguard.
To help celebrate this milestone year for the factory, the firm is also reviving its GMG (Giornate Mondiali Moto Guzzi) event, hosted at the Mandello Del Lario factory. The festival of all things Moto Guzzi is scheduled to take place from the 9th to the 12th September – we are assuming that’s if the world has returned to normal by then!
The Moto Guzzi V7 and V85 TT Centenario editions will be available from February 2021 in the UK through www.motoguzzi.com or your nearest Moto Guzzi dealership.
Pricing for the Centenario editions of the V85 TT and V7 are as yet unreleased. As soon as this information is published, we'll let you know.
Update: Pricing for the Moto Guzzi Centenario announced:
V7 Stone Centenario - RRP £8.200
