MV Agusta Enduro Veloce has its Price Slashed
£21,800 is no longer the price of the Enduro Veloce, although it is still the priciest middleweight adventure bike by some margin…
The bikes haven’t even landed in dealers yet, but MV Agusta has already reduced the price of its top-end middleweight adventure motorcycle.
At the launch, the 124bhp, 931cc inline triple was set to cost £21,800, basically near as makes no difference £22k once you’ve chucked on some heated grips and your second tank of fuel. That is quite a chunk of cash and pushed the sub 1,000cc machine up past the starting price of much bigger, more powerful 1,000cc plus motorcycles - like the Ducati Multistrada V4 S (£20,495) and BMW R 1300 GS Adventure (£16,360). It also punted the new Enduro Veloce a significant amount of money higher than the bikes that should be the true competitor to the MV, bikes like the Honda CRF1100 African Twin Adventure Sports (£17,599) and Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro (£14,495).
That’s not something that went unnoticed by those at the launch event, and it seems that MV has taken note and tweaked the price accordingly. The new Enduro Veloce will then be landing in UK dealerships at £20,000, so a £1,800 saving on the original price, but still a chunk higher than the competition.
The press release goes on to confirm that for those wanting to get a taste of the Schiranna-built adventure tourer, demo bikes are on the way and should be in all authorised UK dealerships from June onwards.
