Relive your youth with the new Indian eFTR | UK launch announced
The Indian eFTR is an all-electric dirt bike aimed at children looking to get on two wheels with style
WE covered the new Indian eFTR when it hit the states last year, and the general consensus was, I want one (for my kids obviously) but sadly, at the time it wasn’t bound for UK shores.
Well, the young (and the young at heart) may now rejoice, as the Indian eFTR is officially coming to UK shores. And we still want one.
Taking its styling cues from the FTR750 flat track race bike, the eFTR is instantly recognisable as an Indian Motorcycle model, complete with an FTR1200 replica tank and seat unit.
Beneath the skin, the eFTR is powered by an electric powertrain that is fed by a 24-volt rechargeable battery. Run time is around 30-minutes and there are two modes, low – circa 10mph – and high – circa 14mph. the seat height is an easy to get on with 468mm, and the bike is designed for riders between eight and thirteen years old.
The frame is a solid set-up, with no complex or expensive suspension to worry about, and braking is provided rear brake only, maintaining the flat track aesthetic!
Indian FTR1200 review

“The eFTR Mini is the perfect choice for so many riders and loyal Indian Motorcycle customers looking to share their passion for riding with the children in their lives. With the eFTR Mini added to our lineup, we’re providing an accessible youth offering to accommodate aspiring two-wheel riders.”
