Yamaha MT-03 unveiled
With R3 frame and engine

HERE'S one that we've known was coming ever since it was launched as the MT-25 in Indonesia in June.
It's Yamaha's new MT-03, which uses the frame and 321cc parallel-twin engine from the YZF-R3 (just as the MT-25 is based on the Asian-market R25).
Like the rest of the MT range, it's got an upright riding position, while the seat height is fairly low at 780mm.
It's got an ABS-equipped 298mm floating front brake disc and 220mm rear.
The wheels are 10-spoke cast aluminium with a 140/70 rear tyre and 120/70 front. It's got an LED tail light and a 14-lite tank with knee grips and air scoops.
It costs £4,4990
It was unveiled at Yamaha's press conference ahead of this week's Eicma motorcycle show, along with a new XSR700 and MT-10.
