Yamaha reveals YZF-R6 price
Plus pricing and availability for updated TMAX
YAMAHA has just announced pricing and availabity for the much-anticipated new YZF-R6 and the updated TMAX and TMAX DX sports scooters.
The new R6 will cost £10,999 and is due to arrive in dealerships in April.
The 2017 TMAX will be available in three flavours – TMAX, TMAX SX and the top-of-the-range TMAX DX. The base TMAX will cost £9,399 and the TMAX DX will be priced at £10,699. Yamaha hasn’t said how much the SX will cost but all models will be available from April.
Yamaha announced in October that it had updated its cult YZF-R6 supersport bike for 2017. Highlights of the new R6 include R1-influenced styling plus the addition of traction control and a quickshifter. It’s also got twin LED headlight and indicators, new KYB USD forks, new radial front brake calipers and a magnesium subframe. For full details on the new Yamaaha YZF-R6 read our news story here.
The 2017 TMAX has also received its fair share of changes, including a new chassis, plus updated bodywork along with revisions to the engine and electronics.
