Ola Electric’s futuristic Diamondhead sportbike could hit the market in 2027
The Ola Diamondhead sportbike could hit the market in 2027, according to reports in India.

You may remember that images of the new Ola Diamondhead hit the web around two years ago, but the bike is yet to land on the market. Ola Electric wants to change that and is planning a 2027 launch of the futuristic sportbike.
Best known as a manufacturer selling lightweight electric scooters, Ola Electric revealed the Diamondhead alongside other ‘futuristic’ motorcycle concepts, which included a cruiser and adventure model.
The Diamondhead was the most interesting of the three, though, and it has a strip-style headlight which curves around the front fairing. But it’s the fairing that is one of the most fascinating parts of the bike, as it overlays the handlebars, connecting to the faux fuel tank of the bike.
The bike’s style, from the images revealed in 2023, has not changed; however, fresh reports in India have revealed more details about the bike.
The prototype reportedly features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, active braking, and adaptive cruise control. Ola is also planning to use its in-house-built 4680 Bharat cell in the sportbike.
It’s also being reported that Ola plans to improve the battery’s overall performance in time for when the bike reaches production, to increase power, offer a better range, and improve performance.
Additionally, Ola will use lightweight materials such as aluminium, carbon fibre, and magnesium in the construction of the Diamondhead.
Ola recently unveiled the bike at its 2025 Sankalp event in India, which centres around innovation and technology, and it’s claimed that the Diamondhead can go from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just two seconds.
