SUZUKI UK has announced official Akrapovič slip-on silencers for the 2021 reboot of the iconic Hayabusa.

There is a catch though, if you want to deck out your ‘Busa with the lighter, better looking and better sounding ‘cans, you’ll have to be quick! Just 20 examples of the exhausts are being made available for sale through authorised Suzuki dealerships.

The aftermarket exhausts reduce the bike’s weight by a total of 4kg and boost power by 2kW (26bhp), as well as enhancing the Hayabusa’s soundtrack and improving the look over the stock bike. It’s not that the original exhaust is particularly bad looking (which is nice considering its Euro 5) or bad sounding, but bikers are like moths to a flame when it comes to bolt-on goodies – especially when they wear Akrapovič branding.

And while we are on the subject of branding, the new end cans come complete with swanky laser-etched Akrapovic and Hayabusa logos.

A pair of Akrapovič exhausts for the new Hayabusa comes with an RRP of £2876.05 and either a three-year warranty when fitted at point of sale, or a two-year warranty if fitted later. If fitted at the point of purchase they can also be included in any finance agreement, spreading the cost over monthly repayments.
