The BMW Urban G/S that’s a bit more G/S than Urban
Accessories firm Wunderlich turns R nineT-based model into 'G/S Scrambler'

THERE’S a clue the BMW Urban G/S’ off-road potential in its name; it’s got classic enduro styling inspired by the R80 G/S but it’s going to be more at home in a city than on a trail.
But now BMW accessories specialist Wunderlich has made it ‘ready for off-road’ and given it a new name to reflect its new ambition: the G/S Scrambler.
The German firm is offering a range of accessories which it says make it ‘a truly fun machine off the asphalt’, including 70mm higher suspension and knobbly tyres ‘that are not just a decorative accessory’.
‘They mean that Wunderlich’s G/S Scrambler likes it rougher,’ the firm said in a press release.
It’s also got engine crash bars, handguards, a luggage rack, a screen and a ‘minimalist’ rear mudguard with a built-in tail and brake light.
Would you be brave enough to take it off-road?
