Ducati Partners With Van Orton Design for Limited Edition Scrambler Kit
Ducati has launched a new limited edition graphics kit for the Ducati Scrambler, designed by Van Orton Design
A new graphics kit has been revealed by Ducati for the Scrambler Next-Gen. Only 50 will be produced, and it is designed by Italian digital design duo Van Orton Design.
Ducati describes the kit as “the first exclusive collection of interchangeable covers,” suggesting more designs will be coming in the future. This one applies a graphic design to the tank via applicable covers.
Visordown being a motorcycle website, and not an art website, the best we can come up with to describe the design is “boldly colourful”. This kind of fits with the whole “Land of Joy” thing Ducati goes with for its Scrambler marketing.
The kit can be ordered now from Ducati dealers and soon from the Ducati website, but with only 50 available you’ll have to be quick, and maybe you’re already too late. On delivery, the kit will arrive “inside a special box with dedicated graphics in which the kit will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a series of surprises in true "Land of Joy" style,” Ducati says. There are also some collectible stickers that come with the kit.
The kit is designed for the Scrambler Icon, which comes with Ducati’s Desmodue V-twin engine displacing 803cc, and producing 73bhp and 48lb ft.
The Ducati Scrambler Icon is available from £9,595, and is also available on Ducati’s new 50-2-50 finance offer. The graphic kit comes in at €690, which equates to around £600. And that’s without VAT.
