Givi embraces its dark side with new Trekker Dolomiti Black Line

GIVI has launched a new, all-black collection of panniers, associating the colour with ‘elegance, sobriety and good taste’.

Personally I think black panniers are stealthy, aggressive and downright badass, but whatever floats Givi’s boat.

The line comprises powder-coated versions of Givi’s 36-litre Dolomiti aluminium side cases, a 46-litre top case and a 30-litre box, which can be used as either a top case or side case. Designed for road-going tourers, rather than outright adventure machines, the boxes features completely removable lids and attach via the Italian manufacturer’s Monokey “PL / PLR” system, which is available for a wide range of bikes.

A padded 30-litre soft bag made from water repellent treated polyester is also available to go inside the panniers.

Completing the Black Line is a selection of accessories, including trekker straps, a waterproof cargo bag, stainless steel support for the thermal bottle and a trolley base.

The Trekker Dolomiti Black Line is priced from £318.99, with a set of two cases costing £594.83. An inner bag, meanwhile, costs from £43.50.
