Spankers top-spec carbon flip-lid from LS2

WE'VE spoken before about LS2 helmets, and their nice quality lids for the money. So this new one looks pretty interesting. Dubbed the Vortex, it's a full carbon-fibre flip-front modular lid, with the option of a Linkin Ride Pal Bluetooth system supplied in the box, and with a claimed weight of 1300 grammes (+/- 50g), is probably the lightest flip lid we've seen.

It's got all the usual claims of a high-end lid: vents, QD visor, internal sun shield, removable washable liner etc etc. It comes with a Pinlock insert too - a decent package for the £299 retail price. If you want the (usually £129) optional Bluetooth kit thrown in, it's £399 for a limited time.
