Top Block Racing releases new front protector for Aprilia Tuareg 660
The French parts manufacturer Top Block Racing has released a new steel tubular front protector for the Aprilia Tuareg 660.
A new front protection frame has been released for the 2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660 by the French company Top Block Racing.
The Tuareg 660 is Aprilia’s answer to the mid-range adventure market, using the same engine for a base as that used in the Tuono 660 naked and RS 660 sports bike.
Top Block Racing, on the other hand, make a variety of parts for bikes across the spectrum, from Husqvarna Vitpilens to the Yamaha FZ1 S.
For the Tuareg 660, Top Block Racing (TBR) have brought a front protection frame made of 20-25mm steel tubes, although they are painted in an “Epoxy Grey Aluminium” colour, as are the fixing plates.
The benefits of a front protection plate on an adventure bike are obvious. Riding in off-road situations presents additional risks compared to riding on paved roads, and protecting the front of the bike - where the headlight sits of course, as well as the radiator, brake lines and much more - is vital in the event of a crash, especially in longer rides where fading light is a factor.
