Touratech has announced a range of aftermarket components for the Aprilia Tuareg 660 adventure bike.

Aprilia’s mid-range adventurer is part of a family of three 660s from the Noale brand, and considering the Italian success of the Benelli TRK502, the Tuareg could be the one with the most potential.

Touratech has recently unveiled a number of components to enhance certain parts of the Tuareg 660. These include hand protectors, panniers, pannier racks, soft bags and more.

Firstly, Touratech has made available its aluminium “Defensa” hand protectors for the Tuareg 660. These help protect the brake and clutch levers from being broken by stones, as well as the rider’s hands. Touratech says “the Defensa can be modularly upgraded with a wind deflector as well as an additional spoiler for maximum comfort on fast stages.”

There is also a stainless steel headlight guard in order to protect the headlight from damage in off-road conditions, which is especially useful for longer rides, of course.

Furthermore, Touratech has made model-specific adaptations to its pannier rack, which means the Tuareg 660 can be fitted with either 25 or 38 litres of storage space from Touratech’s Zega panniers.

There are also soft luggage options, in the shape of the Discovery luggage system, and the Extreme Edition saddle bags. Additionally, there is the Midi tank bag (which can hold between 10 and 14 litres of luggage), and Ibarra and Ibarra Smart handlebar bags.

Finally, Touratech’s windscreen spoiler and folding mirrors will be made available for the Tuareg 660.
