Tucano Urbano launch new jackets and gloves for 2018
More kit for the Shoreditch massive
Urban riding specialist Tucano Urbano has launched a new range of jackets and gloves for 2018.
The Bred bomber, is a stylish sheepskin leather jacket with a high level of attention to detail. Alongside, but with a perforated leather outer, the Tom jacket has a gritty look, thanks to its metal zips. For 2018, the Pel jacket is now available in black, a further option to the brown jacket already a popular option in the range.
Safety and style have both been key in the design of items like the GIG PRO, which retains its classic leather outer but is now CE approved. The Bob and Bob Lady are constructed with a leather palm and elasticated cotton on the back of the hand. The full leather BOB SKIN LADY now comes in Black and Nut Brown.
Brand new for 2018, the Monsieur and ladies Madame jackets feature a mesh liner. Made from real cow leather matched with Oxford fabric inserts, they balance safety, ventilation and style. Both jackets come with a 100% waterproof and breathable membrane to handle light showers but can be removed if not required. The Network jacket – available in black and light grey – is also new for 2018.
The Pol and Polette – two waxed effect cotton canvas jackets – have been introduced in Khaki for Spring/Summer 2018. Those riders looking or a classic biker style field jacket will be pleased to see the Robert jacket has joined the Tucano Urbano range. Sporting a washed effect cotton polyester mixture, it’s 100 per cent windproof and breathable and available in Dark Blue and Khaki. These jackets go perfectly with the new Calamara or new Calamaro gloves which feature leather palms and soft CPS protection on the knuckles and palms.
To handle surprise showers, not just the heat of summer, the men’s Areos and ladies Areas jackets feature the Hydroscud® system which guarantee 100% waterproofing and breathability, providing better ventilation for the body whilst also guarding against the elements.
The all-new Torpedo glove, made with innovative Outdry® technology, creates a breathable but waterproof barrier to prevent the fabric staying wet after wet weather riding.
A new entry to the Tucano Urbano range of Gloves is the CE approved Penna, with a neoprene cuff available in three colours: Black, White and Fluorescent Yellow. Similarly, but without rigid inserts on the knuckles is the Miky: an entry level CE approved motorcycle glove also available in the versions Lady and Kid.
The range of colours for the El’Jet helmet has been extended for Spring/Summer with the additions of Italian Red, British Green and German Silver. New colour options are also available for the El’Mettin – still appreciated for its demi-jet design, comfort and attention to detail.
