Foggy pulls no punches in his new book

World According To Foggy on sale next week

Four-time WorldSBK Champion Carl Fogarty – better known to the public at large as King of the Jungle – has written a new book of true stories and anecdotes which goes on sale April 19.

As well as lifting the lid on some of the more amusing parts of his racing life, Fogarty also reveals what happened when he got into a tangle with Ian Woosnam, how much Lawrence Dallaglio can actually drink and why footballists should be ashamed of themselves.

Fogarty doesn’t pull any punches in his opinions or storytelling but it reveals the man is a long way from the brash and some would say rude works Ducati rider that ruled WorldSBK in the 1990s.

It reveals the man behind the helmet, his passions and frustrations, what makes him still leap out of bed in the morning and seize the day - ultimately, what makes this great man tick and explains his enduring popularity.

The World According to Foggy is published by Headline on 19th April, priced £20.
