Ducati launches MotoGP 2017 bike with Lorenzo and Dovizioso
Jorge Lorenzo meets his new Ducati in racing livery for the first time!
Ducati has revealed its Desmosedici GP17 alongside Andrea Dovizioso and new signing Jorge Lorenzo ahead of the new MotoGP world championship at its factory base in Bologna.
The Italian squad gave a formal presentation of its new racing livery plus Lorenzo alongside Dovizioso but Ducati boss Gigi Dall’Igna confirmed the new bike’s final version won’t be shown until Qatar, which could lead to the new wingless fairing on display not being the ‘real’ 2017 model.
Lorenzo and Dovizioso will ride the new livery at prototype Ducati during the Sepang test from Januayr 30th to February 1st, while test riders Casey Stoner and Michele Pirro will also be on track at the official test in Malaysia.
