IodaRacing unveil Moto3 engine
Details of the Moto3 engine unveiled at Mugello


IODARACING presented their Moto3 engine for teams to purchase when the GP entry series changes to 250cc four-strokes in 2012.
Produced by IodaRacing and Robby Moto Engineering, the EMIR GP 3 meets the new 250cc four-stroke engine regulations. Weighing 20.6kg the features include a double overhead camshaft and finger balancing valve control, a cassette gearbox with titanium piston rod - altogether producing around 50bhp.
Unveiled by Giampiero Sacchi, the new engine will be available to teams at a discounted cost of €12,000 plus tax for any order placed within August with the engine available in November.
Ioda displayed a Moto3 prototype at last year's Portuguese GP.
