Royal Enfield launched a recently updated version of its Classic 350 model, which includes a variety of new colourways.

The Indian market was first to receive the updates and new colourways from Royal Enfield on 1 September, with Europe expected to follow in 2025. The Classic 350 first went on sale in 2008 before being discontinued. However, the model was reproduced in 2022 and it was based on the Meteor 350. Launched in its current form in 2021, the changes for 2025 are by no means revolutionary.

A brief presentation for the updated bike was held in mid-August in India before making the bike available for purchase on 1 September. The updates on the bike include new headlights, tail lights and indicators which are being changed from incandescent bulbs to LED technology. Digital displays are being added below the speedometer, which will include a gear indicator and optional arrow navigation. Both levers will be fully adjustable in the future, and there will also be a USB-C socket on the left side of the handlebar.

In terms of colourways, Royal Enfield has not held back as they’ve introduced 11 different liveries. These include Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Commando Sand, Medallion Bronze, Emerald, Gun Grey, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Green, Redditch Red, Redditch Grey and my personal favourite colour on a motorcycle, Stealth Black.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 will keep its DNA which consists of an air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine. The chassis of the bike will also remain unchanged with its frame and swingarm made of steel tubes. In terms of pricing for the updated range of Classic 350 bikes, the starting price is 190,000 to 230,000 Indian Rupee (roughly £1,700 to £2,100). Royal Enfield has three other models within its 350 range and they include the Bullet 350, the above-mentioned Meteor and the HNTR (Hunter).
