Waterproof jeans that don't feel like it
Check out these waterproof jeans by Alpkit. By using a very specific and accurate application of silicon, these jeans keep the same feeling and texture of regular jeans but are said to be extremely water resistant and windproof. We've been told that they retain their "mercury effect" for a period of time but can't stay like that forever. The difference is that when they do get wet they are said to dry much faster than normal jeans and will still retain their windproof qualities. We think they'd be ideal for popping down to the local without having to worry about a splash of rain or the inevitable spilled pint.
