This boot has a host of systems designed to protect ankles and toes from hyperextension as well as high-end touches that go a long way to making the price tag digestable.  The shift pad’s good and big so the chances are it’s position might actually co-incide with the whereabouts of your gear lever.

The toe-slider’s an alloy item that might last longer than a couple of hot laps of Donington.  The internal suede heel insert makes these boots feel like slippers instead of the plastic welly vibe you get from some protectively-engineered boots.
