Bike of the day: Triumph Speed Triple 955i
Grab a bargain of British engineering
TRIUMPH has once again played a blinder with its new Speed Triple, due to be revealed on February 5.
The Speed Triple family is a long and illustrious one, with several models seen since its inception in 1994.
But before we get over-excited about the 2018 bike (too late), lets look back at some of the excellent older machines.
Such as this 2001, 26,000-mile 955i for just £1,995.
How it’s described:
‘Good condition with only small signs of wear and tear from use. Showing 26,000 miles which would look to be correct looking at the condition and all the MOT history.
Nearly new tyres
Fitted with some useful extras as seen in the photo.
Comes with 2 keys, old MOT's plus some other paperwork.’
What we think:
‘All eyes are on Triumph as we eagerly await the full reveal of the 2018 Speed Triple. But let’s not forget where it all began, and the excellent models that have been seen over the years.
‘This bright blue 955i looks in excellent condition, and boasts a tidy Akrapovic exhaust, too’
‘At just £1,995 it’s a bargain of British engineering.’
