Bike of the day: Honda CBR600RR

WE ALL have a soft spot for a certain bike.

It may be our first, our current or an all-time favourite, but every biker has one.

A bike that makes you stare longingly and say: ’I remember when…’

For me, it’s got to be Honda’s CBR600RR – my current machine. It’s powerful, has wonderful handling and most importantly, is great fun.

But I’ve always coveted this… The CBR600RR9 Splash edition.

How it’s described:

‘2009/09, 11,271 Miles, Superb Honda CBR600 RR9 in limited edition splash colours, this 2-owner-from-new bike comes complete with both handbook and service book with full Honda service history, both keys, recent pair of tyres, tinted screen, MOT till September 2018, in absolutely stunning condition and a real eye catcher in these colours.’

What we think:

‘This bike, these colours. It’s an absolute beauty, and with just 11,000 miles on the clock, a barely broken in one at that!

‘It’s had 2 owners from new, and looks to be incredibly well-kept, with a full Honda service history and both keys.’

‘I’ve seen similar mileage examples sell for a couple of grand more, so £4,999 is an absolute bargain. The fairly new tyres, tinted screen and long MOT just sweeten the deal.

‘If you want to stand out on what is otherwise a stock supersports bike, here’s your chance!’
