CFMoto to organise 1,800-mile ride out in support of The Brain Tumour Charity
CFMoto will be sending one of its 800MT Touring motorcycles on an 1,800-mile journey across the UK to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
A charity ride has been announced by CFMoto, as one of their 800MTs will be ridden over 1,800 miles.
CFMoto recently launched their 800MT as a competitor in the mid-range adventure and adventure-tourer categories, which makes it the obvious choice of motorcycle for the brand’s UK managing director, Paul Miller, to undertake this mammoth journey with.
Specifically, Miller will use an 800MT Touring, and take it from CFMoto’s base in Lincolnshire up to John O’Groats - the UK’s most northerly point - back down to Land’s End - the UK’s most southerly point - and then back up to CFMoto headquarters in Lincolnshire. The total distance for the journey is 1,805 miles.
The ride will also take place at the end of November, between Friday 25 November and Saturday 26 November, meaning the comfort features of the 800MT - such as the heated grips - as well as its ergonomic features - such as integrated GPS and cruise control - will be well-tested.
The ride will be in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, which for Paul Miller is one of particular importance, as his partner is currently undergoing treatment for a tumour which with contemporary technology is unable to be removed.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading charity focused on brain tumours, and the world’s largest funder of research into brain tumours, according to the charity’s website.
There are just under two months until Paul begins his ride, and his target is to raise £10,000. You can donate on the “CFMoto Big Ride Out” JustGiving page.
