Ducati Monster gains Iceberg White colour for 2024
The Ducati Monster has gained the "Iceberg White" colour for 2024, making it now three different colour options on the twin-cylinder naked.
The Ducati Monster has received a new colour option for the 2024 model year, with the new “Iceberg White” paint.
The new “Iceberg White” paint will be available on the Ducati Monster and Monster Plus from June 2023, bringing a third colour to the range alongside “Ducati Red” and “Aviator Grey”. The new option features (wait for it) white bodywork (fuel tank, front mudguard, and tail unit), with a silver stripe down the centre of the tank, a red seat, and black wheels with red tags, akin to those used on Ducati's MotoGP bike.
Like the Aviator Grey colour, the new Iceberg White paint increases the price on the Ducati Monster from £11,295 in the standard Ducati Red to £11,495. For the Monster Plus, the price increases from £11,595 in Ducati Red to £11,795 for the Iceberg White colour.
Although both the Monster and Monster Plus are both now available to be ordered in Iceberg White, the new colour is not applicable to the 2023 Ducati Monster SP.
The new paint goes over what is a relatively established shape in Ducati’s evolving roster. The Monster was arguably the bike that kept Ducati going back in the 1990s and 2000s, and by 2023 it remains one of the staples of the Bologna brand’s offering, with its 937cc Testastretta motor providing 111 horsepower and 93Nm at its peak outputs. A 45-horsepower (35kW) version is also available for A2 licence holders, indicating both Ducati’s acknowledgement of the importance of younger riders, and the Monster’s position to appeal to those younger riders (even if £11,000-plus is not exactly inexpensive).
Fans of the Ducati Multistrada will also recognise the Iceberg White paint - it was added to the Multistrada V4 S’s colour range in the beginning of 2022.
