Husqvarna SMR511 gets price cut

IF you've ever fancied the idea of a supermoto as a second bike or a bit of a toy, then here comes some good news.

The super-lightweight, race bike inspired SMR511 has had its price cut by Husqvarna and is now just £6,199.

When it was launched earlier this year, it cost £7,299.

Featuring a four valve, dual camshaft, fuel-injected 478cc engine, it weighs 118kg and features fully adjustable Marzocchi 50mm inverted forks with 250mm of travel. The rear Sachs shock-absorber is adjustable for pre-load as well as rebound and compression damping and gives 290mm of rear wheel travel.

If it's a bit too much for you, you could try the morestreet friendly SMR630 at £5,925, a saving of over £600.
