Kove’s founder is reportedly developing a new 148bhp inline-triple sportbike
Chinese manufacturer ZXJC is reportedly developing a second motorcycle, which would be the most powerful in its range, with a claimed 148bhp.

You may not have heard of ZXJC before, but the Chinese brand is hoping to make waves with its new inline-triple sportbike. The new model is believed to be under development and will produce around 148bhp.
ZXJC is currently owned by Zhang Xue, who some of you may know as the founder of Kove. After departing his role at Kove, he’s now focused on making ZXJC a powerhouse in the two-wheel sector, and this inline-triple could be a good start if the hype is to be believed.
The company has launched one model to date, the four-cylinder 500RR sportbike, which claims to deliver 81.8bhp at 13,500 rpm and 34lb.ft of torque at 11,500 rpm.
According to reports, deliveries of the 500RR are due to begin in China very soon, however, “project 299”, which is the new 820RR triple, looks to be next.
The brand is also believed to be keen on expanding its range outside of just sportbikes, with an adventure bike, a new motocross model and a V-twin cruiser all said to be in the pipeline.
Details of the bike 820RR include a lightweight aluminium frame, with the bike set to come in with a dry weight of 168kg. The suspension is reportedly fully adjustable, with an upside-down front fork and an adjustable rear shock.
The engine is believed to rev up to 15,250rpm, while a variety of rider assists will include a six-axis IMU that enables cornering traction control and Bosch cornering ABS.
We’ll have more information on the complete specs of the bike when they are revealed.
