Prince William to officially open Triumph’s Factory Visitor Experience tomorrow
The Prince owns a number of motorcycles himself
MOTORCYCLE aficionado Prince William will visit Triumph’s Hinkley headquarters tomorrow to officially open its Factory Visitor Experience.
The 35-year-old will be given a tour of the factory, walking the assembly line and meeting the technicians and apprentices who work there.
Following his tour he will officially open the Triumph Motorcycles Factory Visitor Experience, which Visordown got a first look at last year.
The £4million development at Triumph’s Hinkley, Leicester, site showcases the British marque through its 115-year history, from 1902 to now.
While in the midlands, the Prince will also visit the MIRA technology park in Warwickshire, which is at the forefront of automotive technology research and development.
Kensington Palace tweeted earlier this month, announcing William’s visit:

However, William is reported to have put his motorcycling days behind him for his family.
After receiving his MBE from the Prince at Buckingham Palace last November, triple World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea told Press Association: ‘We talked about his bikes and the fact that he has put it on the back-burner a little bit because of his children now.’
Hopefully a trip to Triumph will reignite the Prince's passion for all things two-wheeled!
