2024 KTM motocross range launched, evolution from 2023
KTM has launched its 2024 motocross bike range. The new model year sees an evolution from 2023, which itself saw quite a change in design.
KTM has launched its 2024 range of SX and SX-F motocross bikes, with an evolution of the 2023 bike.
2023 saw big changes for KTM in its motocross bikes. Stability was added, but that took away from the bike’s turning ability. This was an issue highlighted in racing both in the World Championship, and in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross.
For 2024, KTM has focused on suspension settings to take the new model year a step above the 2023 motorcycle.
WP XACT covers both front and rear suspension, with the shock settings revised to provide more traction, and the 48mm fork is adjusted to provide, KTM says, “improved bottoming-out resistance and damping, and allows the fork to stay lower and more planted on initial acceleration after a hard landing.”
There are also new graphics, which KTM says are 90s-inspired, featuring purple highlights and accents on the traditional orange and white base.
The 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range covers once again a variety of two-stroke and four-stroke options, respectively. On the two-stroke side, there remains the 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX; while for the four-stroke SX-F machines there are 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F, and 450 SX-F options available.
The 2024 KTM motocross range is available from KTM dealers from this month. Find your nearest KTM dealer, and explore the Austrian manufacturer's whole motorcycle roster - including the recently announced 2024 cross-country range - on the KTM website.
