The QJMotor SRK 800RR is a New Four-Cylinder Sportsbike for Europe

QJMotor, better known as Qianjiang in China, has built several motorcycles reminiscent of designs from other brands, most notably MV Agusta. This is no surprise given former MV Agusta employees Adrian Morton and Paolo Bianchi helped design the SRK 921 RR and the QJMotor SRK 1000 RC Ten 78, which are descendants of the F4 and Brutale 1000 RR.

A Superveloce-inspired SRK 921 SV was most recently spotted in the works, but the SRK 800 RR, which does remind us of a Honda CBR650R, looks full of originality as it finally landed in Europe - Italy to be exact.

But what do we know about the bike? It’s QJMotor’s third four-cylinder motorcycle after the first which was the SRK 600RR. QJMotor came onto the motorcycle scene when it purchased ownership of Benelli in 2005. QJMotor first launched its SRK 600RR four-cylinder bike in 2020 and used an engine originally designed by Benelli.

The 800 RR, which is available in China like all of its models, boasts features such as racing-style winglets on the front fairing and is equipped with traction control, a trellis steel frame, an adjustable Marzocchi upside-down fork, and an aluminium swingarm. The braking system comes from Brembo with radial four-pot calipers.

You might look at this bike and think Honda CBR650R - and to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t blame you. But this is not a build based on that bike, it's instead complete originality from QJMotor. The SRK 800 RR was built with a brand-new engine and while similarities between the two are moderate, including a bore of 67mm bore which is the same as the CBR650R.

The engine is officially classified at 778cc and makes up to 101bhp, seven bhp more than the Honda CBR650R makes from its 649cc engine. The 800 RR is another indication of QJMotor looking to build its sportbike range.
